Commodities Traders Ltd is a boutique trading, brokerage and consultancy firm based in London. The company was incorporated in June 2007 as Anthuriums Co UK Ltd specialising in the wholesale trade of tropical flowers and plants, mainly dealing with Aalsmeer Auction House in Holland, The Netherlands. 

 

Over the years the company diversified into the trade and brokerage of several other commodities such as premium grade Vanilla and other tropical spices from Madagascar, Rice from India and Sugar and Soybeans from Brazil. As a result, the nature of the business the company was engaged in had completely transformed several years later. Hence in April 2019 the name of the company was changed to Commodities Traders Ltd to better reflect the evolution of the business.

 

Since 2019 the main focus of the company has been in facilitating and brokering deals between end buyers and sellers. The ultimate goal of the organisation is to move into physical trading of various commodities as principal.

 

CTL has established some excellent working relationships with several well established and reliable companies in various markets and has carved a niche market in several highly lucrative commodities. In 2020 we established strong working relationship with several Recycling Plants in Europe for the supply of HMS and other scrap metals. In 2021 we started working directly with a mining company in the DRC for the procurement and supply of Copper and Cobalt ores and their derivatives.

The company has built strong, long-term working relationships with a select few reliable partners in these very highly competitive markets by brokering deals and creating mutually beneficial business opportunities for all the stakeholders.
